Stephanie Lee - Interim Director

Stephanie Lee has over 20 years of arts management and marketing experience in the metro Atlanta area. She has served as the Ferst Center's Marketing Director since 2002 and prior to that worked as Director of Communications at the Alliance Theatre Company for 5 years. Also at the Alliance Theatre she served as Director of Youth Programs, developing the Education Advisory Council, managing in-house and touring performances for young audiences, and marketing those programs for 8 years. She began her arts career at the Center for Puppetry Arts, working in public relations, membership, and marketing and managing the Center's national touring programs. Prior to this Stephanie worked as a newspaper reporter and editor. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Georgia.


Kathryn Colegrove - Business Manager

Kathryn Colegrove began her career in the arts in 1990 by building props in the Berkshires. After receiving her BFA in Theatre Production/Management from Auburn University in 1992, Kathryn went on to work in stage management and company management for the The Berkshire Theatre Festival and Studio Arena Theatre. Upon returning to Atlanta in 1996, she worked as a Production Coordinator for local commercials and films until she accepted the position of Managing Director at Dad's Garage Theatre. There she oversaw administrative and financial changes as the operating budget increased three-fold and the full-time staff more than doubled. She joined the Ferst Center staff in January 2005. Kathryn is the recipient of a 2001 Fellowship for The John F.Kennedy Center's Vilar Institute of Arts Management, a member of "Women in the Arts," on the board of Dad's Garage Theatre, and a panelist for the Fulton County Arts Council.


Aishah Pacheco - Event Manager

Aishah Pacheco began her career in musical theater at the famed NYC Performing Arts School, thereafter attending Adelphi University and Queens College. She started her professional career at Children's Television Workshop on the series 3-2-1 Contact! and The Following Program and later on Square One TV, on which she was a member of the production team and cast. She has served as production manager for York College Performing Arts Center, producer for Black American Heritage Foundation Music History Archives, at WCBS-TV, and at the Louis Armstrong House & Archives. She is a production consultant for the Trenton Jazz Festival and a founding member of two prominent music festivals in New York: the St. Albans Jazz Festival and the JAMS Festival, for which she serves as artistic director. Shortly after arriving in Atlanta, Aishah joined the staff of the Ferst Center as a member of the stage crew, then left to join the staff of Spivey Hall. She returned to the Ferst Center as Event Manager in September 2005.


Sara Wetherbee Warner - Program Coordinator: Drama Camp, Marketing And Galleries

Sara Wetherbee Warner joined the Ferst Center staff in 2006 and serves as Marketing Assistant, Drama Camp Coordinator, and Ferst Center Gallery Curator. She is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia and holds bachelor’s degrees in Art History and Broadcast News.


Chris Dreger - Box Office Manager

Chris Dreger has worked as Box Office Manager for the Ferst Center for over 10 years. Prior to this position she served as Drama Camp Coordinator for the Ferst Center for 3 years. She has worked on the Georgia Tech campus for over 20 years. She now serves as President of GAPTA (Georgia Professional Ticketing Association), previously served as Secretary and Treasurer of GAPTA and is a member of the International Ticketing Association, INTIX.


Dee Blakey - Box Office Supervisor

Dee Blakey became a member of the Ferst Center Box Office staff in 2000, having previously worked at the Georgia Tech Bookstore since 1995. She is a member of the Georgia Professional Ticketing Association. A native of Cheddar, England, Dee moved to the United States in 1967.

Virginia Sheppard - Arts In Education Coordinator

Virginia Sheppard, formerly of Buffalo, New York has over 10 years’ program management experience in the arts. While serving as the Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Turner/Carroll High School, she created the school’s Arts Program, which included music, dance, drama and visual arts. In 1993, she wrote and directed the schools first Black History play “Lest We Forget”. It was her passion for the arts that led her to Atlanta in 1998 and to her position as coordinator for the Arts Education program for the Robert Ferst Center for the Arts at Georgia Tech. The 2-year pilot program was designed to introduce, educate and inspire students from the Ferst Center’s partner schools and their families to learn from, understand and appreciate the arts. Virginia also served as the administrator for the Ferst Center's Summer Drama Camp. In this role she instituted the revamped curriculum, which to date, is still followed.

With the reimplementation of the Arts in Education program in 2005, Virginia is working part-time as the Ferst Center’s program coordinator as well as working in the Office of Foundation Relations assisting in raising funds for the Ferst Center. Virginia is a member of the Metro Grantmakers Network, African American Development Officers Network and serves on the development committee for Hammonds House Galleries.
